Anonymous to readers
The submission form collects your title, story, theme, language, optional content note and submission time. It does not request a name or email, and we do not attach sign-in identity to stories. Hosting providers may process technical connection information; this is not a promise of complete technical anonymity.
Review before publication
The team reviews each submission. Stories containing identifying details, targeted harassment, threats or accusations naming other people will not be published. Strong language or quoted hateful words may be retained when relevant to a lived experience and approved in context. Editors can add a content warning; readers choose whether to open sensitive stories. Moderated comments are available on selected public learning and case pages; personal stories have no public comments. We may decline a story. Consent covers this website only, not Instagram or other channels.
Cookies & language preferences
We set a cookie to remember your cookie choice for six months. If you choose to remember your language, a separate language cookie lasts six months. Change or withdraw that choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. We add no advertising or analytics cookies. Hosting may use necessary sign-in cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a connection request when the page loads.
Security records
To limit spam and repeated login attempts, we temporarily store a keyed hash derived from connection addresses, separate from stories. Rate-limit records expire and are cleaned up after one day. Editor session tokens are stored only as hashes and expire after eight hours. Security and editorial audit records contain actions and record identifiers, not story text or passwords, and are cleaned up after 90 days.
Your choice
Only share what you feel comfortable making public. Stories are stored until the team removes them. To request removal, contact @gynema on Instagram with the title and enough detail to locate your submission. Because we do not collect identity, we may need to clarify your request. Published text can be copied by readers.
